Why This Austin Men's Circle Exists

Most men are silently falling apart.

They wake up with no fire.

Grind through the day.
Numb, anxious, angry...on edge but unable to speak it.

They don’t say anything. They don’t ask for help. They just keep going, until something breaks.

"Suicide is the leading cause of death for men under 50"

Every day, fathers, brothers, and sons decide the quiet ache is louder than life.

Most people never see it coming. Because he was “fine.”

Fine at the job that’s killing their soul.

Fine in the relationship where the spark died years ago.

Fine watching porn at 1 a.m. instead of facing the emptiness

Fine drinking just enough to numb it out, but never feeling fully free.

You can only hold your breath for so long before the pressure finally explodes.

Marriage, body, bank account, spirit or all of it at once.

The real tragedy?

He never had a space to share the truth before it took him down.

That’s why this Circle exists.

To give men a room where rage can shake loose instead of calcify.

Where grief can flow out of us instead of fermenting.

Where the words “I’m good” finally die and something real comes out.

No lectures.

No saviors.

Just a fire, a floor, and a band of men who will not look away.

Led by Genar Mendez, a certified Embodied Masculine Facilitator with years of experience guiding men through shadow work, emotional healing, and embodiment practice. Genar has served at multiple men’s retreats and built a reputation for holding depth with presence, edge, and soul.

What Happens in

the Circle

This isn’t a men’s group where we sit in a circle and talk about our problems.

This is where we movebreathe, and break open what’s been buried.

You won’t be asked to share your feelings unless they’re real.

We start by landing in your body, your breath,

and in what’s actually happening inside you, not the story, but the sensation.

From there, the circle opens.

Sometimes it’s explosive.

Sometimes it’s heartbreak.

Sometimes it’s the silence you’ve been running from for years.

In this room, you’ll be guided through practices like:

Embodiment + somatic release to break out of the head and back into the body

Breathwork to clear the static and tap into clarity and power

Partner work + primal expression to confront what’s been hiding in the shadow

Emotional release practices to move rage, grief, and suppressed fire

Archetypal activation to awaken deeper aspects of your masculine power

Ritual + grounding to walk out integrated and clear, not cracked open and scattered

We end every practice with a raw, real sharing circle.

There’s no advice. No fixing.

Just listening. Witnessing. Respect.

No judgment. No shame.

Because every man here is walking his own path, and we all meet as equals.

This work will strip you down and return you to yourself.

You’ll leave lighter.

More embodied.

More honest.

More clear on what matters and what doesn’t.

TESTIMONIALS

MEET GENAR

MEET GENAR

There was a time when I lost myself completely.

In addiction. In relationships where I gave everything and abandoned myself. In silence, depression, and the constant tension of never feeling “enough.”

What transformed me wasn’t willpower, it was being witnessed by other men.

It was sitting in rooms where truth cracked me open.

It was working with mentors who didn’t try to fix me, but called forward the parts of me I’d buried to survive.

That was the beginning of something real.

Since then, I’ve trained under Amir Khalighi through Embodied Masculine and served at multiple men’s retreats, each time guiding others through the dark and into the truth of their own power.

I’ve created a life that feels honest and whole.

A life rooted in deep love, self-respect, meaningful connection, and financial alignment.

Not because I figured it all out, but because I stopped abandoning who I am.

This work isn’t about becoming better.

It’s about becoming true.

And I’m here to walk with you into that fire.
